TkFontPkgFree: all fonts should have been freed already

at the point of exiting my application i get this error. It causes a core dump.

the whole error message reads:

Font -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--14-100-100-100-m-90-iso8859-1 still in cache.
TkFontPkgFree: all fonts should have been freed already
./GTI_run[52]: 27188 Abort


[font names] reveals that at the point of exiting the font listed in the error is indeed defined. Whats the fix/workaround?

Damn just found a thread stating that this is a tk problem that appeared in 8.3.3
