Using IBM Tivoli Remote Control Server 3.8, we are increasingly experiencing a "black screen" when remoting to target workstations. We have primarily observed this on Win2K targets where a user is logged-in before the remote control sesion starts. The session is extablished completely normally with the exception that the screen display on the controller is completely back (the controller tool bars, etc., are fine). As a work-around, we have found that logging out (send ctrl-alt-del key combo, then "l", then "enter") restores the display for the session (and apparently subsequent sessions until the workstation is rebooted) even after the user logs back in.
