I am trying to select a title background color in the new 6.5 Titler. Help says that, with the title window open, you select Window > Window Options > Title Window Options. There are 4 options, but no "title window." Also, R-clicking in the titler window does not give me any "Title Window Options."

Where are they?

Hi Edwin,

I think that your problem relates to the Adobe on-line help and it's foxed me a few times. For some reason (backwards compatibility I suppose), the titling bit of the help info covers Adobe v6.0 and v6.5 titlers but they all appear to relate to v6.5 unless you find an explicit reference in the actual version, or a screenshot makes it clear. I'm pretty sure that the bit you've quoted refers to the v6.o titler.

I think that the effect you want is achieved in v6.5 by placing a coloured object behind the title text (in this case a rectangle big enough to fill the screen). Because the object tools can be applied to this 'background, all of the texture, outline and other effects can be used, which is an advantage I suppose.
