tips on ultra scsi drive in asus A7N8x

was wondering what would be the best setup for putting in an 80 pin ultra scsi drive with two other ide drives on an ASUS A7N8X delux. was hoping to boot from the scsi and run operating system (windows xp) and games, video editing. then use the ide drives as storage.

Are you talking a RAID card or true SCSI
You can't hookup IDE drives on a SCSI
If you do your going to burn something out!

what ever way would be the best for getting the most preformance out of the scsi cheata drive i have now. at the same time running the ide drives normaly.

If your MB supports SCSI boot options in the bios you can use the SCSI drive as your main drive with no problems.
Just remember when you go to load Win XP on it to hit F6 and load the scsi drivers. If not you will not be able to access the SCSI drive
