Hi guys,

I have a number of different format text files which contain strings and numbers which may all be on one line (10000+ instances) or maybe on multiple lines.

Any ideas on how best to handle this?

Thanks

Write a scanner (with gettoken(), type() etc members) on char by char basis. Incapsulate a file as a binary char stream in this scanner. It's so comfortable (no troubles with line boundaries - simple \r\n as token separators)...
