Tips for text/labels, etc. alignment 1

Using the designer, I can't seem to quite get a good looking page. For example, a text box directly below another one is slightly offset to the right comparied to the above text box. I've tried pressing ctrl-left to see if that gives me a micro movement, but that does not work. I have the same thing with a couple labels. Anyone have any ideas?
 
These types of tight design issues can sometimes only be resolved inspecting the html code. Just ensure that there is no whitespace or nonbreaking spaces around your textboxes... and that the two are identically laid out in code.

RequiredFieldValidators set to display "static" can also sometimes cause wierdness in layout, since they are only hidden, but still there. To fix this problem, just set them to displayType=dynamic.
