I used to own a Psion Series5 but decided I needed a change so, when it became terminally ill, I bought a WindowsCE machine. My Series5 ran at approximately 7Mhz and my new WindowsCE machine ran at 100Mhz but I tell you the truth, it was slower than my Psion! I kid you not, the organisation of just about everything on the WindowsCE machine made it inefficient and cumbersome.<br>

I stuck with the WindowsCE machine for six months and used it extensively but have now gone back to Psion and I am now running the Series5 MX. I know it isn't a colour machine but believe me, having seen both worlds, I'd rather 16 shades of functional grey than 65536 colours on a machine that runs like a tractor.

Hurrah! A man after my own heart although I simply would not touch a CE anything. Psion 7 is my laptop replacement and I ain't looked back. The 5mx is a great machine too, collect your email literally wherever you and your 5mx can go and all of the rest it, without bloat and without drama.

No wonder Psion is doing well and as for Symbian, I hope they are going to fly, they certainly have got all the right people hooked in, Nokia, Ericsson, Sanyo etc

Sometimes however, lesser products take over the market, Beta and VHS. Hopefully this will not happen to Psion, whose products I believe honestly are the best.

The series 3a was also a cracker for sending email to and fro.

Beta v VHS

I hope Psion products do not get hit the same way by mediocrity over superiority.
