Tiny Firewall (the free one). Help needed with set up.

Hi Guys
Just downloaded the Tiny Firewall ( the freebie).

Everyone recons that its great, and I needed a firewall.

Trouble is, I am no guru, and really would like to hear from someone who can help me set it up so it sits in the background and stops people roaming my PC.

I read all the messages on Tiny Firewall and people said good things about it, but, unfortunately I tried tiny firewall and it locked up my computer on reboot. Had to start in safe mode to remove the program. I'm now using ZoneAlarm, it's also free. Great program and easy to install.

Another vote for ZoneAlarm. Once installed, just turn off the notification so you don't get freaked by all the stuff going on, just know it's doing it's job. Cheers,

OTOH if you really want to stick with Tiny, here's their help page, with instructions on how to set it up. (It's in PDF format, so you need Acrobat Reader, but they do have an HTML of the same file at their home page.)
