Timing out a Sproc

Does anyone know if it is possible to stop a stored procedure from running after a certain period of time?

I have a exec and I want to run it from another - it is accessing a web page and I want to be able to stop the access if it hasn't got the information within a certain time.

I know you can use LOCK_TIMEOUT to stop a sproc from timing out - but how do you actually time out one on purpose?
 
You can use syncronus connection and specify the time to wait for response, also usin ASP you can use content expiration, there are several ways to do that it all depends on how are you opening and seting up the connection.
