Timezone setting ignored

Hi -

While using the "Preferences Manager" to set up the timezone for a user I found out that my CE10 system will accept this setting (stored also in Cookie-Prefs 'zone=xxxxx') but it has NO effect on scheduling-times.

I already have SP2 and a specific HOT-FIX installed which addresses this issue explicitly - but still no effect.

So what can I do now?
