Does anyone know if Crystal supports the new datetime data type with the timezone in it that's in Oracle 9i?

If so, can you use a datediff() function, etc.?

9i came out after Crystal 8.5, so the new datetype isn't supported - at least not when you're connecting to the database natively, as this driver is only compatible with Oracle 7 and 8 anyway.

You might want to try connecting to the database via ODBC as this might pick up on the new data type - but I can't guarantee it.

You can still use a datetime. But, if you're connecting natively at least, the timezone portion won't go down in the report. I'm pretty certain that it won't be supported if you connect via ODBC too, but I haven't tried it, to be fair.
