In the prep to fix the DST debacle - we noticed that our document library posts, list edits, etc. were being timestamped 1 hour earlier than posted. We applied the OS KB928388 DST patch - no change, then applied the sharepoint services DST patch - KB924881 - reboot - no change.

Obvious checks like server time/timezone are correct, clients as well. Any ideas?

What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Check regional settings under site settings and make sure that you have the right time zone selected.
