I'm attempting to use the Borland timer function under Windows 98 set to a value of 1 ms (1 millisecond updates); however, the observed resolution is no better than 55 milliseconds. Is than any way under the Windows 98 operating system to take full advantage of the Borland timer functions (1 ms resolution)?

Thanks, for the help.

Check out the components at . In the Timers section they have one named TMMTimer that is supposed to get 1ms resolution.

I think there is no chance to get the Real Borland Resolution, because of the long duration of context switching under Windows OS .
