Timer_Help Assistance needed, Code Ex?

I am having problems in being able to turn the timer function on/off and recording time using the timer in the format wanted.

Details? How do you want to turn the timer on/off? How much resoulution do you need on the elapsed time? Anything is possible, the problem is I only have one lifetime.
