Is there a way to change the timer?

if a call to an 9608 (handsfree) will be end by the other side i get
busy tone (CMCSCompletedTone) for 30 sec. before the 9608 change in idle state (CMCSCompleted)

I cant find a timer value to change this :-(

Explain why this is a problem may help. The tone is for a human to know that the other end has disconnected (rather than being very silent). The 30 seconds is the IP Office deciding that the human is not paying attention.

If you want it removed, for example for some IVR application that makes/answers calls, maybe you need to change the extension type.

@cruzades
wrap up time? sorry, but where can i find this and for what is the time responsible?

@sizbut
our customer works with a wireless headset without EHS and so he have to end every call on the handset :-(

Wrap-up time is the time the system will busy out an extn after a call, it is designed to give the user a few seconds to breath before they get the next call. it will make no difference to your problem.

our customer works with a wireless headset without EHS and so he have to end every call on the handset.

The also have to answer the call on the handset so they cant be too far away.
if the user does move away from the desk regularly they probably need to be investing in the correct equipment for the user.

Sometimes there is no "Fix" for user miss operation.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I assume they are using auto answer, but the real issue is you are using cheap headsets and trying to programme around their limitations :)

Whilst the disconnect tone play timeout is not adjustable, I've been reminded by a colleague that the use of disconnect tone is controllable. Look at System | Telephony | Disconnect Tone and select Off.

It is a system wide setting, so it will affect all users. You'll get some people thinking the call has gone rather quiet until they look at the display and realize the call has ended.
