I got an Issue with timeprofiles.
One of the easier things is now giving me an headache.
So i set a time frame where the AA is active and outside that timeframe it goes to a group which is set on Out of Service for voicemail purpose.
There some days over the year where the company closes like X-Mass and some other religious days, normally u could just insert a day in the same profile and the PBX executed it perfectly and gave me the Voicemail instead of the AA.
So this customer moved from location and decided to replace their Avaya for a newer version. Now running release 8 with embedded voicemail, setting up the time profile to be active between 8:30 and 16:30 from Mon till thusday and on Friday till 14:30. This profile is set on the Incoming Call route.
Last Thursday it was a day off for everyone, so i had that day set as date entry in the same timeprofile to activate the voicemail from 00:00 till 23:59 but the timeprofile did not work and prioritised the normal 8:30 till 16:30 setting, so when the time hits 8:30 the AA: did his thing while he should have been on the voicemail.
This seems also the case when i make 2 time profiles one for the 8:30 till 16:30 times and one for specific Dates but again with 2 timeprofiles set on the incoming call route it did not work and prioritised the 8:30 till 16:30 profile.
While this all is working fine on some other avaya's we have running on older releases. Release 4.2 and a release 5 this works as intended but it does not on release 8.
Does anyone know a workaround or see a flawed setting in this ? Our supplier also tested it out and it also did not work for them.
