Hi,

when I do not use logon telnet on Sco 6.0 for approximately 5 minutes, the connection goes in timeout. Is normal?
Thanks

It's absolutely normal, but it should timeout in 1 minute, not 5. That's assuming you meant your connection is sitting at the login prompt and you walk away.
If you are connected and running a telnet session, it shouldn't timeout with inactivity unless you have the "idleout" set (fairly rare, and not enabled by default).
There are other places along the communication route which could also timeout and kick you off.

I take back the comment about a 1-minute timeout on initial login.
My login prompt has been sitting idle on my test system for about 7 minutes thus far.

Hi,
how are modified the minutes of timeout on Sco OpenServer 6.0?
Is it possible?

Thanks
