I have a website that has been running fine for months, and for some reason over the last few days, the timeout specified in global.asa no longer seems to be working.

The pages do not timeout at all, whereas I would've thought that if for whatever reason the global.asa was not being read, the standard timeout of 20 minutes would be applied.

Can anybody help me out with this?

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm just guessing here but, if the default timeout was changed on the IIS to a larger number that 20 minutes, and your session timeout in your global.asa file isn't situated in a Session_OnStart method would that do it?

Martin.

Sorry if that's a stupid idea, I'm just trying to get some thoughts down on paper.
