Hy,
I'm new in here because I had a very difficult question.

A user of our network is trying do download a file from a Novell ftp-server.
The user have to use a proxy, which is configguered as an http proxy which allows ftp over http.
We use Windows XP on the workstations, the proxy is a netcache. The useres have a entry for the http-proxy and the ftp-proxy (it's the same) on port 80.
The users can connect to the ftp server, but if they want to download a file, the connection isn't handelt by the proxy any more. The firewall blocks the ftp request an the session timed out.
Is it possible, that the Novell(Unix?)- server returns a unknow format that the connection will be lost?

Can you help me.

Thankx a lot.
