Does anybody have any experience with linking to data in TimeForce (timecards software from Qqest), either for Excel or for Access? Thanks.

TimeForce uses SQL 2000 or SQL 2005 (at least the current version does) which can easily be accessed by Excel or MS Access with the right driver - but (big "but"), it would depend upon whether or not TimeForce's security would allow it.

I suggest you pose this question to the makers of TimeForce.

"Retired Programmer". So, please be patient.

Assuming you have an administrative login to the SQL Server, you could always create a new login that has rights to the database.

Thank you both for the responses. I did pose this question, by email, to TimeForce but got no answer. I think I will try the telephone route today.
