Hi,

I'm running SQL Server 2005 on Windows Server 2003.
Accpac is running on version 5.4 with the latest service packs. PJC is running on 5.4 SP1.

I set up Timecard users with Windows authentication.
When they logon to Timecards the field employee number is already pre-filled with the Employee Number identified by the logon. The user can't select any other employee for this field.
Now, Timecards is also accessible under your normal Accpac logon. If you open up Timecards under your Accpac logon the field Employee Number will be blank.
These are the settings for all but one user.

For this single user it's exactly the other way around. The employee field is empty under timecards logon but pre-filled with the users staff number under the Accpac logon.

Employees are required to enter their time through timecards logon so they can only enter hours for themselves. This particular user however can select any employee he wants under timecards.

Has anyone had this problem before? How do I get the employee field pre-filled in timecards and restrict access for this user to select other staff members.
I've checked every setting and compared it with the other users - it's all identical.
If I create a new user it works as I want it to. It's just this one user causing problems.

My theory is that this user, when he first did his timesheets, didn't go through the timecards logon but the accpac logon. And now it sits there and I can't change it?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for your help!

What's happening with the transactions the user has been doing already in Accpac?
Will they be affected at all? Will the user be able to open his timecards created under the previous account?

woohoo...sorted.
Reason was: To utilize our licenses the best we can, we have a seperate Accpac and Timecard logon.
In PJC setup employee you need to link the employee to the timecard user.
I had it linked to the Accpac user - that's all it was.

Thanks for your help!
Cheers!
