I relocated a R 5.0 ACS. Since the move it will not keep the correct time. I've reset the time several times and have even backed up and restored the system ater correctng the time. It will keep the correct time for a while then it changes.
Is there any fix for this?

The Partner ACS is not known for keeping rock-steady time. I think that there is a chip that is tasked with keeping time and it uses the line frequency as a reference.

If so, the chip may have gone bad.

Avaya got to the point where....starting on the R7 processor (software "J" I think)....an option was created to sync the system clock with the time stamp sent with caller ID data. Then....in the R8 processor....an option was created to override that feature because many users.....who get service from VoIP providers.....were noticing that their clocks were reading the wrong hour.

If the time is really bad, you could try sending the processor out for repair or ignoring the time stamp altogether. Upgrading to an R7 or R8 processor is always an option, but those 5x9 units are still very expensive on the aftermarket.
