TIme sticking on a KX-td1232 1

I have a system that the time is "stuck" for lack of a better word. The system will let you change the time and then it stays put until someone changes it again. Is there any way other than reset or replace to fix this issue.

the internal battery is shot you will need to replace this to fix however i think these are soldered in in the states but not in the euro zone
