Has anyone seen this before?
The timestamp for voicemail messages is wrong.
It's about 8 hours ahead.
If someone leaves a message at 9am, the time msg was left says 5pm.

The Time in Manager and the IP 500v1 control unit is right.
In Manager, I have a Time Server IP address entered, of a local time server.
Weird how I have to offset it by 15 minutes.
The time shows up correctly on the phones.
The time is correct on the computer running VoiceMail

I tried a test; If I change the time in Manager and save it/write it back to the control unit, then leave a message, it does change the timestamp.
So it is getting the time from the IP 500.

It's an IP 500v1, R8.1(52), Manager, VoiceMail Pro

Has anyone seen this?
Any idea of how to fix it?

thank you,
Bill

VoiceMail Pro is 8.1.1003.0

That's a lot of numbers

8.1.9016 is out try and upgrade it

ddcommllc.com
Avaya/Toshiba/Nortel

ACIS

There is an update available for the IPO and VM Pro.

I would use the VM Pro server as the time source.
The VM Pro server is most likely getting time from the same time server the IPO is getting time from.
Double-check the time zone on the VM Pro server as well.

You should also set the timeserver on the VMPro server linke mentioned before.
The voicemail time stamp is not taken from the IPO.
