Time Set

Hi all,

The customer network/domain has DCs in Europe and in China.
It is necessary that the servers in China are configured with the same time as in Europe ? (6 hours difference)
What problem could arise ?

If this is a domain then this would also set all of your member servers and workstations to that time as well through the windows time service. This is due to the time requirements of kerberos.

If you can cope with that then there shouldn't really be any problems.

I don't really "need" but I would like to avoid unnecessary problems.

It's probably most important to remember that any scheduled tasks and so on will need to be set to run at the wrong time. You don't want your 11.59 PM backup starting at 9AM local time and so on.
