I had written awhile ago in regards to creating a report that would be able to print up information for a certain time period. I am creating a financial database to help contain all of our accounts in Access and I want to print transactions between certain dates. I also want to print a report for transactions by account. If I can get some help I would appreciate it.

Hi,

Assuming that the report is based on a query, and that there is a date field in the query, then you just need to specify the start and end dates in the criteria of the date field in the query. This can be done using the between function (i.e. Between <startdate> and <enddate>.

You can also link these dates to a form....so the user can put in their start and end dates on a form, which link to the query, which will then create a report between those specific dates.

Hope this helps.
