Time running fast

Client with an R7.0 910 Partner ACS and the time keeps creeping about 10 minutes fast. They do not have Caller ID. Does the provider still send time information over to the Partner if they do not have Caller ID? If not, is there any cure to a processor running time fast?

No. The time stamp is provided only with Caller ID info.

The Partner ACS is notorious for not being able to keep an accurate TOD. That was the reason the system was modified to correct the system time based on Caller ID.

The R8 will allow you to disable the feature when service from an alternate provider whose equipment is physically located in another time zone is being used.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
