Hello All,

I have a new system running 9.1 and VM Pro and I can't seem to get the Time Profiles to work they way I want.

Customer has seven different Holiday messages that need to played on each particular Holiday.

What I wanted to do was create a Time Profile for each Holiday, then point in ICR to the necessary VM Module that is already set up.

I have a CLOSED profile that has the normal weekly schedule which works just fine.

In the older version software, I had two profiles, CLOSED and HOLIDAY. When the date for HOLIDAY was active, I had manually changed the message in VM Pro.

I am trying to set this up, so I can program in all the Holidays and messages for the year and not have to touch it at each holiday.

I have also tried to use the conditions editor in VM Pro to route the calls to the correct holiday message, but I can't seem to figure that out either.

Any suggestions from the group. All help appreciated.

THANKS!

In IP Office manager create the time profiles for the holidays.
In VM Pro create modules for each holiday with a announcement or VM Leave action.
In Manager in ICR you add the time profiles, IP Office checks the list bottom up so first add the weekplan profiles like a night and lunch time profile and then add the holiday profiles.

The list should look something like this:
Default > Day ring destination
Lunch > VM:Lunch
Night > VM:Night
Holiday 1 > VM:Holiday 1
Holiday 2 > VM:Holiday 2
etcetera

Have a look at Kyle Holiday's Standard Base Configuration

Point the incoming call to menuDay. It will branch off to checkConditions1, which will check through the standard US holidays plus 4 Custom ones, and if it is a holiday, play a preamble ("Thank you for calling ACME. We are closed for the July 4th holiday"), and then launch into the Night AA. If it doesn't match a holiday, it checks business hours, and if it is, comes back to the menuDay module as Day, which you can connect to a Transfer to your Main group, or go ahead and send to the Day AA if that's what normally answers first.
