Workstation time is wrong - on workstations in Mexico City. Even after logging in after a reboot, the workstation time is one hour BEHIND the server time and the server time has the correct local time.
The server time looks like this at the console when you type time:
ES-TOLUCA:time
Time zone string: "CST6CDT"
DST status: ON
DST start: Sunday, April 3, 2005 2:00:00 am CST
DST end: Sunday, October 31, 2004 2:00:00 am CDT
Time synchronization is active.
The server is set to CST6CDT - Which I hope is Central Daylight Savings Time - which is where Toluca & Mexico City are in. The workstations are set to GMT -6:00 for Mexico City/Monterrey within in Windows. Here's the weird part. If you change the Windows time zone to GMT -6:00 Central Time US & Canada, the time instantly gets set correctly. How can that be - 1st that the Mexico City setting gives the wrong time and 2nd that setting it to another GMT -6:00 time zone setting in windows would make any difference????
Am I missing something simple?? Confused in Toluca.
