Time out when I send mail from aix to lotus

Hi,

I recently installed a DNS on my aix system.Before when I
run this command mail -v xxxxxx@zzzz.fr , it was ok
now with the DNS,
I obtain this message:
zzzz.fr: Name server timeout
Transient parse error -- message queued for future delivery
Netsvc.conf file:
host = local ,bind
if only host = local it 's ok
in My /etc/hosts file a put the :
ip lotus address lotus hostname
ip aix server aixserver name and aixserver_name.
aixserver_name. to imitate a domain
How could I resolve this problem, or anyone could explain how to send message from aix to lotus with a dns

make it "hosts=local,bind4"

Be sure to create an /etc/resolv.conf with the following:
search <domainname>
nameserver <nameserver IP address>
nameserver <another nameserver - up to 3)
