Is there anyway to have inactive calls time out on a CICS system?

I have the Auto attendant running on it now, but we're using it more as a messaging function since the main number has changed and we are now also using a CS1000S system.

However when the AA is running, it still fwds the calls to the attendent set. Any ideas how we can get the calls to drop after hanging up?

Simple answer is no. The s/w is written that way so a company does not lose any calls.

I would record your greeting saying the new number to call as a CCR info path instead of AA that way the caller hears the message and the system hangs up.

Are you using the resident AA on the CICS, or do you have a Norstar voicemail?
