Time out error sending to mailbox on same server

I am running Exchange 2003 and all the users mailboxes are on the one server.

However we have one user that at randomly is not getting their emails from other users on the same server.

The error is always...

"Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified. Please retry or contact your administrator.
<*****EXCH.mycompany.co.uk #4.4.7>"

I have seen lots of answers to 4.4.7 errors but usually between separate mail servers or domains
