How do I calculate time on a query, I have start time, end time, and lunch on fields. How do I calculate a field on a query that will show total hours?

Thanks

Something like this ?
Format([End time] - [Start time], "hh:nn:ss")

Hope This Helps, PH.

That works, but how do I subtract Lunch? 30 mins or Hour

How are you storing Lunch? Are you using a date/time field? Or are you storing the number of hours or number of minutes?

You might want to look up DateAdd() in Help while in any module.

Storing in number of minutes.

But would be default 30 mins.

ChrisBair,
Did you look up DateAdd() in Help or do you want someone to write your expression for you?
