Installing classroom phones on an MICS R3; how do I set this up so that outgoing calls, except 911, can only be made afer a certain hour?

Set up a restriction service.

Terminals&Sets - Show
Show set: ___ - Enter the extension numeber
223:223 - Show
Line access - next to
Restrictions - Show
Restrn filters - Next
Set restrns - Show
Filters - Show
Normal: 02 - This means that during normal dialing conditions filter 02 (unrestricted by default) is assigned. Press Next
Night: 11 - Change this to your restricted filter. 01 is by default programmed to restrict phones to local and non-toll calls only.
So press change and enter 01
Then press Next - Evening: 12 - Next
Lunch:13 - change this to filter 01 also


Services -Show
Ringing service - Next
Restrn service - Show
Sched: Night - Show
Service: Off - Change to manual (if you want that person to have the ability to turn the restriction off and on at will.) Change to Auto if you want it to come on at certain times automatically.
Next.
Sched: Evening - Next
Sched: Lunch - Show
Service: Off - Change to manual or auto to match above.
Header back out to Restrn Service. Then Next to Common Settings - Show
Control sets - Show
For Lines - Next
For Sets - Show
Show set: ___ - Enter the extension number
223:221 - This means that extension 221 has the ability to turn the schedule off and on manually. Change it to be whatever extension you want to have that ability. Or leave it alone if setting to auto.

Header - For sets - Header - Control Sets. Next to Schedle times - Show
Monday - Show
Sched: Night - Show
Start Time 23:00 - Change this to be when you want the restriction service to come on automatically at Night. Then press Next
Stop Time - Change this to reflect when you want it to turn back off again. Then press Header. Sched: Night. Next to
Sched: Lunch - Set the start and stop times for when you want the restriction service to come on during break.
Header
Monday. All that was for just Monday. Now press next and go on to Tuesday and program the times for Night and Lunch. Then Wednesday etc. etc.

If you want to turn it on manually you do not have to set all this. Just give the extension that is assigned as the control set for the extension in question a Feature 872 button. That will toggle the restriction on and off. When they press the button it will ask them for a password. It is 23646 (admin).
