time management/ time tool software

Does anyone know of a good off the shelf time management package where multiple employees input time spent on multiple projects.

Reporting is required on time spent per project and either comparable with predicted/ estimated time or downloadable to excel.

Be careful about downloading to Excel. You should understand your destination's expected file formats.. Plain test or sql export are also useful to have at hand!

Depends on how many employees/projects you have, we use Niku Clarity (

http://www.niku.com)

here but it would be overkill for under 50 people. I'd have though Microsoft Project Server 2003 + the clients would do what you want to.

There are a bunch of tools that do what youre looking for. Let us know more specifics - are you using project? how many people will use? do you need it hosted? do you need resource management?
