Have a customer with a new Partner R7 (Release 7.0 910). The time display on the phones changes by up to 4 to 5 hours periodically throughout the day - I assume as calls come in. This may or may not have something to do with the K patch that supposidly coordinates time based on incomming Caller ID.

Has anyone run into this?? I don't know if the K-patch was applied at the factory or not. If so - is there a way to roll it back??

Tom,
Verify that the time on the caller ID is coming in is correct.Alot of providers are sending wrong time."K" and above set the the time off of caller ID.They are coming out with a release (123) where you can turn that feature off.

Boy - when does that 123 release come out?? I would l;ove to turn this function "off" - and see if it corrects the problem.

This is apparently a brand new Partner R7.0 with the newest "O" release - which I assume includes the "K" or equivalent automatic time/date upgrade off of incomming Caller ID data - which - if incorrectly transmitted by the customer's phone service provoder - may be the cause of all of this annoyance.

However - I will admit that I have programmed a bunch of new R7 Partners lately - and noone has complained of this problem before.
