I frequently reset the time on one of my Opt. 11s (25.4)to match the time on my PCs but the phone time always seems to run two minutes behind my PC time. What causes this and how can I correct it? thank you for your help.

look at the commands in load 2, stda 1 xx 1 would be positive and xx would = 0 to 60 sec in 100 ms increments.. ,
i use procomm script file to dial all my switches starting at midnight and set the clocks to keep them in sync. not a big thing but it bothers some users

Bothered me for the last 25 years. Love Nortel's, but they can't keep time for anything...you think they could have taken care of that...considering what you spend on them. Don't know why this subject bothers me so.....but..some things just do.

I work with another brand of switch designed and designed in Canada with the same processors.....same exact problem. Nothing against Canada, but....give me a decent clock for my money.

about rls 20 they added the time adjust in load 2, your right they should be able to do a time sync with a defined source..

Guess they figured their clock source is the person maintaining the system.....
