Hi,

Is there an option on the date command to show the time in milliseconds. Or better still is there a way to extract the time in milliseconds.

Thanks

Depending on the UNIX environment you are in you may have the date format option of +%N this will give you nanoseconds and you would have to calculate from there.

Most enivornments that I have worked with will only give you seconds.

HTH,

Steve
