Hi!

Using : ms office 2000

I have a cell with a time format. I want to increase te time with a few minutes from another cell and place the result in a new cell. How do I do this and what formats do I need.

Thanx in advance!

Tanja

Tanja,

When you realize that Date/Time are just NUMBERS and understand that what you see displayed is just a FORMATTED TEXT REPRESENTATION OF THE DATE/TIME, it makes manipulating Date/Time easier to conceptualize.

Right now in Texas is 38246.35864, which I can choose to FORMAT in countless ways. Keep in mind that the UNITS of Date/Time is DAYS -- 38426 DAYS after 1/1/1900 plus .35864 DAYS, which can be expressed in hours, minutes and seconds.
