Time Hack For S8700

We have an S8700 that is not hooked to our network. The time is 5 minutes faster than universal time. Is there a way, for the 8700 to dial itself out to somewhere and update its time? I have called Avaya, but they didn't have any answers.

NO, AVAYA will not give you root access which is what's needed to be able to do this.. Also this would be modifying the code on the box, therefore killing your support..

If you want NTP, you can get some NTP devices out there that sync from the GPS sats, then you could offer this on your network..
