I need a new handheld and a new cell phone, Im thinking about going with one of the Verizon Wireless PDA phones. Is there anybody here using one? Any opinions, suggestions, observations would be appreciated. How "useable" are they? How about Windows Mobile/CE OS now?

thanks

The XV6700 is the best device I've used. I've used the Treo 650 and more recently the Motorola Q. The 6700 beats them both, hands down. The slide out keyboard makes typing easy. The stylus and touchscreen take the best of the Treo usability and incorporate it into a nice design. The stick mouse also makes it very easy to use.

The Q seems to have alot of quirks. Though it looks sleek, is lighter and has voice activated command capability, it was hard to type and navigate with it.

xv6700 looks very interesting: do they exist any other PDA with both QWERTY keyboard and touch screen?

And what about PDA without Palm and Windows O.S.? I can't see any forum here about them, why? Are they so bad???

I'm not sure what you are asking. I think the VX is actually a UT Starcom phone - Sprint has a PPC6700 which seems identical.

I don't have any experience with a non-palm or non-Windows PDA.
