Time display on Voip Phones 1

Is there a way to make the time display correctly on Voip phones depending on the time zone the phone is located in?

I have a switch in EST but several of the phones attached to it are in Central and Mountain time and are still displaying EST. Is there an independant time zone setting on these phones somewhere in their programming?

I do not know if you got your answer but here is the info below.

When your i2004 Internet Telephone is located in a different time zone from your system, the
display shows the system time not the local time. The Time Offset feature allows you to adjust the
time that appears on the display.
Before you begin, calculate the time difference, in hours, between the server time and local time.
To change the time that appears on your telephone display to local time:
1 Press Feature *510
2 Press Change
3 Press * to switch between adding or subtracting time.
4 Using the dialpad, enter the number of hours between local time and system time.
Note: Press # to enter half hour increments.
5 Press.OK
Note: It may take up to one minute for the change to appear on the display.

Thank you for your excellent answer. I did as you said and it worked just as it should.

I will post a big star for you on this one. Wherever did you come across this answer? Is there a way to do this from the UM or in some other remote way?

Sorry Harold no way to do this remotely because the system changes region system wide.

The answer to where I found the info is in the user guide for the I2004 handset in the BCM Docs.

I had the same problem a while back between a customer in Canada and the UK.
