Hey there, I have a time dimension I want to build for the calendar below. I have two tables that contain the information below. How can I build this dimension? I was thinking one data source could fuel the time dimension and the other data source could have the effective dates that could go against it. It's not a typical calendar you can pick from a drop down.

Financial Calendar:

FIN_YEAR FIN_MONTH 1st of Month Last Day Of Month

2006 12 11/30/2006 12/29/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 11 10/31/2006 11/29/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 10 9/29/2006 10/30/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 9 8/30/2006 9/28/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 8 7/28/2006 8/29/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 7 6/30/2006 7/27/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 6 5/31/2006 6/29/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 5 4/28/2006 5/30/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 4 3/30/2006 4/27/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 3 2/28/2006 3/29/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 2 1/31/2006 2/27/2006 11:59:59 PM
2006 1 12/30/2005 1/30/2006 11:59:59 PM

Thanks,

Mark

Which product are you using ?

If fishing was easy it would be called catching

I'm assumimg you do not want days/weeks as it's a financial calendar. In which case don't use the date wizard - just add a Date dimension snd add FIN_YEAR as first level and then FIN_MONTH as next level down

If fishing was easy it would be called catching
