I have created a time dimension but not in the data source (i'm a little confused on where the data lies or if it just builds it on the fly based on the properties.) I needed a new one that wasn't in the database because it's easier with it to expand the years as time goes on.
However in the old one, it was in the datasource so I was able to create a calculated column to convert the month to January, February, March, etc. This new time dim isn't in the datasource. I would like to either adjust the caption (name?) property in the "month of year" attribute to use month names or create a new attribute, whichever way works best. Right now if I put it into a parameter on a report, it says "Month 1, Month 2, etc." Anyone have any good ideas on this?
Thanks!
