Hi,

I'm managing a large project using SharePoint and, even though we are all following the procedures our IT person told us to follow, documents are showing that they've been modified at impossible times--according to SP, I modified a document at 7:11am this morning. . . when I was eating my wheaties at home.

A similar (and possibly related) problem has to do with SP not saving changes that my colleagues know they have made--both insertions and deletions--that persist even though we've done the close file/mark save changes and check-in document/make comments process.

Many people under great deadline (and financial--this is a big proposal) stress are phoning me at odd hours and making unhappy noises, and my boss has little whisps of steam coming out his ears. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I have administrator rights to my little bit of SP.

Thanks ever so,
sending you virtual triple chocolate cookies,

sounds like an odd situation. is the clock on the server set correctly?

have you also checked the Regional settings in Central Administration and on the SharePoint sites/Portal ?

I agree with wolvie, that is sounds like a very odd situation, since also you say that changes made to documents are not saved. Do you have the possibility to setup a test site and make your own tests? Have you been able to check the logfiles (SP logs, SQL logs and eventlogs) to see if there are any weird things there?

Cheers,
Thomas
