Time Changing Randomly

I have a Partner R5 with Mail VS5. Whenever i they try to change the time and date, after hitting the Feature 00 to close out of the programming, a different time and date pops up, its totally different everytime. It might show year 2025 one second and then show 2011 the next. Any clue on whats going on??? I am guessing it just needs to be replaced, but i wanted to confirm that before telling them. and it wouldnt even be a big deal to them, but it is screwing up the time on the voicemail.

Back it up, default it, set the time and date, see if it holds. Restore, and see what happens.
