Every time I reboot my server the time changes.

Why would this happen and how can I correct it?

And if I could throw in one more question- I am in Arizona, USA. We don't observe daylight savings. Which time zone should I use?

Thanks much for any help,
Ron

you may want to check your bios clock to make sure that is keeping the correct time. and if the bios clock is not keeping time it may be time for a new battery

I will check that. It is a brand new server that was shipped to us from dell a week ago- so I hadn't even thought of that.

thanks,
Ron

When I issue the command "tzselect" on my RH 7.3 box and drill down through the indeces, I find a setting for "Mountain Standard Time - Arizona" ______________________________________________________________________
TANSTAAFL!

Thanks.

For the time zone info and the smile(due to TANSTAAFL!)

You need a little brass cannon sitting next to it.
