Time calculations to hours

I'd like to get time calculations between two times into hours as a decimal amount.

I currently have:

A1 = 9:00
B1 = 11:30
C1 = =B1-A1

All fields are formatted as time.
Like this C1 will display "2:30"

I would like to get C1 to display 2.5 (how many hours)

Is there a way to do this? I don't use excel very much so there is probably an easy solution I'm overlooking.

Format as general, or number with you preference of decimal places.
