Trying to block any ISDN calls after working hours as our frame relay goes down for maintenance regularly and I am fed up manually closing down our ISDN interfaces.
Have the folowing config
BRI interface using dialer-group 2
access-list 103 permit ip any any time-range office-hours
access-list 103 deny ip any any
dialer-list 2 protocol ip list 103
time-range office-hours
absolute start 00:00 01 January 2001
periodic weekdays 8:45 to 18:00
Using sh ip access-lists I am seeing the following:
Extended IP access list 103
permit ip any any time-range office-hours (inactive) (4 matches)
deny ip any any (167 matches)
The ACL is denying traffic but the ISDN calls are still connecting, why is this?
Any help appreciated,
Jim.
