hi
we are using win server 2003
one of the clients (win XP) gets the following message from time to time
"there is a time and/or date difference between the client and server"
and then he loses all his netwrok abilities

do you have any idea
thank you

Active Directory authentication needs the time to be synched in order for it to work.

I would check to make sure that you have synched your domain. You should configure the DC that runs the PDC emulator role as your time source. Configure this server to point to an internet time source.

Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients will automatically synch thier local time with the domain using the built-in W32 time service (if they belong to a domain).

I've seen this error when switching to Native mode. But eventually the problem worked itself out.
